So, without further ado, we will hand it over to Nigel who will give you all a brief, piece-by-piece rundown of his selection. Be sure to let us know in the comment section following what you are feeling, and if you plan to pick up any of the products featured below.
BONNE Amsterdam Seven-Day Suit
“One of my favorite Amsterdam labels released their signature suit in a summer-ready colorway. I have two of the suits myself, and they’re some of the coziest pieces of clothing I own and so easy to wear; tracksuit feeling with a formal look.”
Midnight Studios x Sex Pistols Full-Zip BDL Hoodie
“I’ve been a fan of Shane’s brand for quite some time and I really like his approach to the whole game. His punk attitude and doing exactly what he wants to do has allowed him access to the inner circles of the likes of Virgil Abloh and A$AP Rocky. That’s not important here though, what’s important is that a young dude like him succeded the way he did by believing in himself and without compromising even the slightest bit. He said that his main inspiration when he started his brand was the Sex Pistols and now, only a few years later he got to collaborate with them. A huge inspiration to any young designer out there.”
Heron Preston x Carhartt Vest
“Customized Carhartt is one of the first things Heron did when he started his brand, so it was no surprise for me when I saw the official collab popping up. Being a huge Carhartt and workwear fan myself, this is a no-brainer for me. Yes, we can argue about the price-point, but if you’re willing to pay over one 1k for a sneaker, I think 800 for a customized vest is reasonable.”
Used Future Blessed T-Shirt
“A first glimpse of the new collection from one of my favorite Korean brands.”
Nike Air Jordan 3
“3s are one of my favorite Jordan silhouettes ever — they usually do them no good though by creating new colorways. That black pair with purple and green accents was horrible and don’t even get me started on the powder blue pair… awful. That’s why this colorway is a really nice suprise; it’s clean, pays a little homage to the OG colorways, and simply works! I know the Jordan hype is not at it’s peak at the moment, but still can’t believe that these haven’t sold out yet.”
Converse CTAS ’70 Low Leather
“The Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 already gives a nice premium and vintage feel opposed to it’s modern era brother. This version with leather uppers and additional stripe accenting over the rubber toecaps adds an extra layer of luxe. These kinda remind of an old Fiat 500 or an old Vespa with whitewall tires — pure nostalgia!”
PUMA x XLARGE Classic Suede
“XLARGE, one of the streetwear’s OG brands, and the PUMA Classic Suede (A b-boy’s sneaker of choice) have finally come together in one silhouette. They kept it clean with the colorway and the branding. This one is for the culture!”
Air Jordan Future
“The Air Jordan Future made a silent return this year. Definitely one of the better new silhouettes that Jordan Brand dropped in recent years. It’s always difficult to live up to Tinker’s designs from the ’80s, but this one does it right.”
Louis Vuitton Jamaican Flag Vintage Keepall
“Let’s not think about Virgil for a moment, and just appreciate this beautiful customized Louis Vuitton Keepall. The graphic is actually not painted, but embroidered – that’s crazy. If you’re after a very unique and well worn-in LV bag, this is for you! There’s plenty of other graphics, check them out here
Mercedes-Benz Leather Bag
“Mercedes-Benz does not only create great luxury cars, but they’ve also been known to do luxury luggage. This cognac brown, leather travel bag just dropped and is the perfect addition to the “German Whip” whip flex.”
Supreme x Advanced Elements Packlite Kayak
“It’s a Supreme Kayak guys… a SUPREME KAYAK!”
NEIGHBORHOOD NHHX. Bar / C-Lite Cot
“YEEEESSSSS… finally! Finally one of these is back in stock at a retailer. A freakin’ NEIGHBORHOOD branded cot, are you kidding me? That’s peak for any afficionado of Japanese outdoor and workwear brands. Cop if you are that type of person, these only show up like once every two years.”
The Good Company Thin Line Water Gun
“New York streetwear label The Good Company dropped its SS18 collection recently, including this cool water gun. Gotta stay strapped (not literally) in these hot NYC streets kids!”
ThinkGeek ‘Fallout 76’ Pip-boy 2000 Construction Kit
“The new ‘Fallout 76’ only comes out in November, but ThinkGeek already has got all the cool toys and collectibles on deck. This updated version of a life-sized Pip-Boy is a must cop for every fan of the game.”
Mass x LN-CC Late Nights Signet Ring
“Jewelry has become more and more important to complete a ’fit nowadays, and signet rings are the most popular option. This one is crafted from Sterling Silver and made in England. A good piece to start off a collection.”
As always, much of this product is limited, so if you missed out this time, be quicker and tune into next week’s roundup for a selection of more hot products.
