Fear of God Debuts Sixth Collection Lookbook Featuring Jared Leto
Brand: Fear of God
Season: FW18 (Sixth Collection)
Key Pieces: The lineup of outerwear is strong overall, but particularly the brown worker jacket, light yellowish oversized shirt jacket, denim jackets, hooded bombers, long coats and vests. The matching iridescent jacket and pants, along with distressed/deconstructed denim, an overall jumpsuit and the new collaborative Nike sneaker are other solid pieces.
Editor’s Notes: Shorty after releasing its campaign video, Fear of God officially unveiled the lookbook for its extensive sixth collection. Encompassing 100 images captured by photographer Pierre Toussaint, the lookbook also stars Jared Leto, alongside modeling talent by Maggie Maurer, Xavier Buestel, and Aiden Andrews.
The new line continues on the brand’s signature aesthetic of oversized silhouettes, as most of the looks are coordinated in layers, while evoking a western vibe infused with utilitarian sensibilities and streetwear ethos. A slew of outerwear like long coats, bombers, vests, denim jackets and more are complemented with overshirts, boxy tees, plaid shirts and hoodies. In addition, the lineup of bottoms consisting of distressed and deconstructed denim, loose tearaway pants, tapered trousers, shorts, and sweats are offset by the brand’s signature lineup of crepe sole footwear in high-top and low-top forms, such as boots, suede chukkas and skate-inspired sneakers. Furthermore, small Fear of God tags located at the waistband of pants and mesh gloves are other notable additions found on the range.
With a palette dominated by neutral tones, along with the addition of patterns and iridescent detailing for a touch of vibrancy, view the standout collection in the gallery above and don’t forget to share your favorite look in the comments section below.
