Westfield Century City Shooter Worry Might Have Actually Been an Incorrect Alarm
With the world on edge in the wake of the news out of New Zealand, reports of a possible shooter at the Westfield Century City spread out quickly through L.A. this afternoon. Nevertheless, it’s still uncertain whether there was, in truth, a shooter on the loose.
Around 12: 42 p.m., authorities were contacted us to the shopping mall, the Los Angeles Times reports Social network pictures and videos from the scene saw buyers and shopping mall workers leaving shops and dining establishments as authorities swept the shopping mall and surveilled the scene from helicopters above.

It appears that the presumed shooter was at the Amazon shop, possibly trying a burglary. While the suspect himself was not captured by authorities, they are reported to be checking out a possible “suspicious plan” discovered at the Amazon store.
LAPD West LA Department is reacting to calls of an “Active Shooter” at the Century City Shopping Mall. We have officers on scene who are clearing the place, however at this time we have NO proof of a shooting or victims.
